2024 GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1

• This is the first model year of the Denali Edition Edition 1 EV.
• There is only one trim available in 2024—however, more will be added in the coming years.

The Sierra EV is brand new to GMC’s lineup. As such, it will be offered with only one trim—the Denali Edition 1 model. Additional trim levels will be available next year.

The EV will nonetheless come fully loaded with two electric motors and loads of fun and useful features. Its starting MSRP will be $99,495.

Let’s talk power—the Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 will have it in spades. It comes standard with a mighty electric drivetrain that includes front and rear electric motors, generating a whopping 754 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque.

There’s even more excitement under the hood, in an air suspension system that can raise and lower the EV and GMC’s Crab Walk feature that allows you to turn all the wheels in the same direction so you can maneuver it diagonally.

GMC has stated the Sierra EV will have a maximum towing capacity of 10,000 pounds—what that will require, we don’t know as of yet. The automaker has also stated that it will have a drive range of about 440 miles on a single charge with fast-charging capability.

Now that you have an idea on what’s under the hood, let’s hop inside. As of this model year, the Sierra EV will be a crew-cab pickup only.

Its bed measures almost six feet long, which leaves room for a spacious interior and a comfortable rear seat, even for adults. Included in the truck’s design is a mid-gate function that expands the bed, allowing for longer items. And if you need even more storage, there’s front truck space.

In the cab, the Denali features comfortable seating and materials of open-pore wood and leather. Its touchscreen infotainment system is a 16.8-inch touchscreen and includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. An 11.0-inch digital gauge cluster and wireless charging pad are also added.
