The Rundown
Though this race might not ever happen, we are sure this would be an interesting battle to watch, the Bimmer would enjoy a flat out stock race while the Caddie would best in a race with plenty of curves. These two vehicles may seem like they come from a far gone world because they focus on having a high output gas engine, and a driver focused interior. Unfortunately this will be the last model year of a gas powered CT4-V Blackwing, as an electric powertrain is forthcoming. However unfortunate the departure of the CT4-V Blackwing may be, this speedy and refined sedan will be remembered for its powerful driving and high-speed fun. The BMW M3 we are sure will be here for some time, as its popularity seems to be unfading. These two powerful sedans are two of the top vehicles in their class, however the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing comes out on top in this race as a result of the available options and articulate driving capabilities.
The Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing outclasses the BMW M3
These two vehicles offer fine luxury and available options to consumers. However, the BMW brand has taken a page from the subscription based business model that has become popular these days. Many features such as heated seats, remote start, and even some advanced safety options are now purchased through a subscription service. This can be tedious and annoying and we fear what this means for the car market at large. Fortunately, the CT4-V Blackwing does not have any subscription based options, and instead of copying the exact interior of the regular CT4, this faster version upgraded the interior and it now only vaguely resembles the regular model. The same unfortunately cannot be said for the M3 which looks, and sometimes feels like, the 330 series.
The Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Drives better than the BMW M3
These two sedans are incredibly fun to drive, and since they both use manual transmissions, gearheads could not be happier at the helm of one of these sports cars. We will say that it would be a close race between the two in a flat out stock race, but in a race with more curves, the Cadillac would have the upper edge. Unfortunately for the BMW, the CT4-V Blackwing handles a bit better, and it is easy to feel the control at the wheel as soon as you begin driving. On top of being just all out fun to drive, the Caddie delivers more driver oriented features as well, with a racing notch at 12 o'clock on the steering wheel, lightweight seats, paddles and more. The CT4-V Blackwing, delivers a load of fun. This sports sedan is incredible on the road and drives like a bat out of hell.
Summary
Two of the most popular sport sedans on the road, the BMW M3 and the CT4-V Blackwing are both incredibly fast, and fun to drive. However, one car will always win out and the Cadillac takes first place in the race. With more available options, and less that you have to pay monthly for, this Caddie outclasses the Bimmer on the road. The Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is the luxury sport sedan for you.
