It mixes a battery, electric motor, and turbocharged gasoline engine to deliver a great performance and fuel efficiency.
Design
The new Cadillac Lyriq will feature seating for five and a center console that divides the two front seats and a bench rear seat with a touchscreen for the rear seat passengers. The cabin is spacious for passengers to be comfortable, with plenty of legroom. The Lyriq has new vertical signature lighting and a transparent crystal black pseudo grille motif with pinstriping and the Cadillac crest that lights up. There will be four choices of trims: Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, and Platinum, with a starting price of $59,995 for the Luxury that ranges to an estimated $90,000 for the Platinum.
The Jeep Wrangler 4xe is available with the same design as Wrangler’s other models. You can choose between two-door and four-door body styles. Two-door models seat four, and four-door models seat five. Removable top and doors provide a capable off-road experience. It comes standard with a soft-top roof that is easy to remove and fold onto the rear tailgate; a hardtop is also available. There are three 4xe models: the base 4xe Sahara, with a starting price of $47,995, the 4xe Rubicon, with a starting price of $51,695, and the 4xe High Altitude, with a starting price of $53,570.

Power
The Lyriq will come standard with an electric motor on the rear axle and rear-wheel drive. All-wheel drive will be optional, with a second motor added at the front. The rear-wheel drive model is said to produce 340 horsepower. Cadillac claims that the Lyriq will offer a battery with about 100-kWh worth of capacity, with a driving range of more than 300 miles per charge. DC fast charging capability will be standard, as well as using home power outlets with 19.2-kw Level 2 charging modules. With fast charging, the Lyriq can add about 76 miles of driving range in 10 minutes. The Lyrig will also have a one pedal driving mode that relies on regenerative braking for most deceleration.
The Wrangler 4xe features a plug-in hybrid with two electric motors that produce 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque with its 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine. An eight-speed automatic transmission comes with this powertrain. The hybrid battery pack that you can recharge at home or at a public charging station is mounted underneath the rear seats. Charging takes about 12 hours on a 110-volt wall outlet, or just two hours with 240 volts. This plug-in-hybrid variant is the most fuel-efficient in Wrangler’s lineup. It gets 49 MPG-equivalent in combined city/highway driving when running on electric power, and it has an all-electric range of 21 miles. It also features the performance and capability of Wrangler’s other models. It can ride in over 30 inches of water, move and crawl over rocks, and through the dirt.
